I hadn’t planned anything much for my birthday this year, but my boyfriend surprised me by taking me to the lovely Park Grand London Hotel for a quiet retreat and a little day out together in London.
Hotel:
When we arrived, we actually got upgraded to the club room, which was so nice of them! The room looked very modern and spacious, and we instantly felt relaxed.
We headed out to The Gojk, a nearby European restaurant, for dinner. I ordered the T-bone steak with fries, and my boyfriend had the confit duck leg with smoky beef bacon and bean stew. We shared the grilled king tiger prawns for starters. The staff there were so friendly!
Then this happened when we arrived back at the hotel!
It was such a sweet surprise, the decorations were beautiful and the little slice of red velvet cake just made my day. Little gestures like this always make me melt!
Thank you to the amazing staff at Park Grand London for making us feel so welcome! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in London. It is in a very convenient spot in South Kensington and is really close to the tube station, so getting around is not a problem.
